Pon Puththagam (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an offline-first Android notebook for goldsmiths. This policy explains what data the app handles and the choices you have. We designed the app so that your business records stay on your device by default.

1. Data stored on your device

The app stores the information you enter: customer names and phone numbers, orders and order items, payments and dues, purchases, stock movements, daily metal rates, business name, language, reminder settings and app preferences. This data is kept in the app’s private local database and storage on your Android device.

We do not operate an account system and we do not receive this local business data. The app does not include advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.

2. Optional encrypted Google Drive backup

If you enable premium Google Drive backup, the app creates an encrypted backup on your device and uploads only that encrypted file to your own Google Drive app-data folder. The encryption password is chosen by you and is not sent to us. We cannot read your backup. Google processes the upload under Google’s terms and privacy policy.

You can turn off daily backup, disconnect Google Drive, or delete the cloud backup from the app. Deleting all app data attempts to delete the app’s Google Drive backup as well. If cloud deletion cannot complete, the app tells you and keeps local deletion successful.

3. Google Play subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are purchased through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and provides the app with subscription status and entitlement information. The app does not receive or store your card number or full payment details. Subscription records are also held by Google according to Google’s policies.

4. Permissions and network access

Notifications and boot completed: to schedule local delivery reminders that you enable, including after the device restarts.
Internet and network state: for optional Google Drive backup and Google Play subscription checks.
Billing: for Google Play subscription purchases.
Foreground service, wake lock and vibration: used by Android libraries for scheduled background work and reminder delivery.

Core bookkeeping, the calculator, customers, orders, payments, purchases and manual encrypted backup work without an internet connection. Optional network features may fail clearly when offline.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data leaves the app only when you choose an action such as sharing an order summary through another app, exporting a backup to a location you select, or enabling Google Drive backup. Those actions are controlled by you and by the receiving app or service.

6. Data deletion and retention

Local business data remains on your device until you delete it. To delete everything, open Settings → Privacy & data → Delete all my data. The app deletes local business records, app settings, the stored backup password, the on-device recovery copy, scheduled backup work and local reminder notifications. It also attempts to delete the app’s Google Drive backup and disconnect Google Drive.

If cloud deletion cannot complete, the app shows a warning. Reconnect Google Drive and run deletion again, or remove the app’s data from your Google Account. Uninstalling the app removes local app data but may not remove a Google Drive backup.

To request deletion help, email [email protected] from the address associated with your Google account. We will respond within a reasonable period. We do not hold a copy of your local business data, so we cannot restore it after deletion.

7. Security

Local data is protected by Android’s app sandbox and by device encryption where enabled. Backup files are encrypted on the device before export or upload. The backup password is stored using Android secure storage. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; keep your device lock and backup password safe.

8. Children

The app is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be reflected in the app or on this page before they take effect.

பிரீமியம் Google Drive காப்புப்பிரதியை இயக்கினால், உங்கள் சாதனத்தில் காப்புப்பிரதி மறைகுறியாக்கப்பட்ட பிறகு, மறைகுறியாக்கப்பட்ட கோப்பு மட்டும் உங்கள் சொந்த Google Drive செயலி தரவுக் கோப்பகத்தில் பதிவேற்றப்படும். கடவுச்சொல் உங்களிடம் மட்டுமே இருக்கும்; அதை நாங்கள் பெறுவதில்லை. உங்கள் காப்புப்பிரதியை நாங்கள் படிக்க முடியாது.

3. Google Play சந்தா

5. தரவு பகிர்வு

6. தரவு நீக்கம்

எல்லாவற்றையும் நீக்க அமைப்புகள் → தனியுரிமை & தரவு → என் தரவை முழுவதும் நீக்கு என்பதைத் திறக்கவும். உள்ளூர் வணிகத் தரவு, அமைப்புகள், காப்புப்பிரதி கடவுச்சொல், சாதன மீட்பு நகல், திட்டமிடப்பட்ட பணிகள் மற்றும் நினைவூட்டல்கள் நீக்கப்படும். Google Drive காப்புப்பிரதியும் நீக்க முயற்சிக்கப்படும்.

7. பாதுகாப்பு

உள்ளூர் தரவு ஆண்ட்ராய்டு செயலி சாண்ட்பாக்ஸ் மற்றும் சாதன மறைகுறியாக்கத்தால் பாதுகாக்கப்படுகிறது. காப்புப்பிரதி கோப்புகள் பதிவேற்றத்திற்கு முன் சாதனத்திலேயே மறைகுறியாக்கப்படும். உங்கள் சாதனப் பூட்டையும் காப்புப்பிரதி கடவுச்சொல்லையும் பாதுகாப்பாக வைத்திருங்கள்.
